The course is a 1.57 mile loop around a heavily used public park, with mostly crushed gravel but some concrete and asphalt thrown in for fun. In keeping with the name of the event, temps climbed to a high of 91, with heat index most likely closer to 94...in the shade. Despite the heat & stupidity, much fun was had by all. The post run cookout provided time for truth-stretching and trash-talking.
Never ending thanks and kudos to volunteers: Sally Brooking, Marty Coleman, Lauren Coleman, Andrew Hackett, Joey Terry, Carl Laniak, Cathy Schindler, Larry Robbins & Steve Micheal. Also thanks to all who threw in a little extra $$ (you know who you are).
